Software Engineer

Job Purpose andImpact

• The Professional, SoftwareEngineering job maintains and partners to design and developsoftware applications and systems. With limited supervision, thisjob collaborates with cross functional teams to implement newsoftware features to meet user needs and business goals and upgradeexisting software to improve performance and functionality throughwriting clean, efficient and scalable code and troubleshooting anddebugging moderately complex issues. This job also participates incode reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge withsoftware engineering teammembers.

KeyAccountabilities

• SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Designs and develops high-qualityintegration solutions using Dell Boomi, ensuring clean,maintainable, and efficient code across cloud and on-premenvironments. Leverages Boomi connectors and predefined patterns tobuild scalable interfaces.
• AUTOMATION: Appliesinternal software deployment platform, methodologies and tools toautomate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliablereleases using Boomi’s AtomSphere platform and internal CI/CDtools
• COLLABORATION: Partners with crossfunctional team of product managers, designers and other engineersto gather moderately complex requirements and deliver solutionsthat meet business needs.
• TESTING &DEBUGGING: Writes and maintains moderately complex unit tests andintegration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the qualityand performance of the software.
• CONTINUOUSIMPROVEMENT: Makes suggestions for improving the softwaredevelopment and deployment processes, and implements the approvedstandards to improve efficiency and reliability. Stays current withindustry trends in integration technologies and bestpractices.
• DOCUMENTATION: Drafts and maintainscomprehensive documentation for Boomi processes that are,deployment processes and system configurations.
• TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Provides technical support andtroubleshooting for moderately complex issues with deployedapplications to ensure minimal downtime and fastresolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of 7 years of Total ITexperience preferably in Integration area.
