As we expand our operations, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Purchase Executive to join our procurement team in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end procurement of marine equipment, spare parts, and consumables as per project and vessel requirements.
Identify and develop vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
Prepare purchase orders, negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
Coordinate with technical, operations, and accounts teams for requirement planning and budgeting.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to procurement.
Follow up on deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and manage vendor performance.
Stay updated with market trends, cost changes, and vendor capabilities, especially in marine procurement.
Candidate Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline. (Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred)
4–7 years of experience in procurement or purchase, preferably in the shipping, marine, or offshore industry.
Strong knowledge of marine equipment, consumables, and vendor networks.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / other procurement platforms).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
