Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the sales efforts for tour packages (domestic and international), targeting individual travellers, groups, and corporate clients.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market reach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, travel agents, corporate clients, and other key partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding customer needs and trends in the travel industry.
  • Create attractive and competitive tour packages, in collaboration with the operations and product teams, to appeal to a variety of customer segments.
  • Handle inquiries, negotiate contracts, and close deals with prospective clients for both India and international tours.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction from initial contact to post-tour follow-ups.
  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports on sales metrics, trends, and forecasts.
  • Stay up-to-date on travel trends, regulations, and competitive offerings to refine sales strategies.
  • Attend travel fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to promote the company and its offerings.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve their individual and team targets.
  • Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the travel industry, particularly in selling domestic and international tour packages.
  • Strong knowledge of travel destinations, itineraries, and market trends for both India and international tours.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing a sales team.
  • Proficient in CRM and sales reporting tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, tourism, or a related field (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business purposes when required.
