Description

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis, Development and Maintenance of solutions developed on top of TelecomPlatforms and Products.
  • Act as a Tier 4 layer for the solutions, providing bugfixes and enhancements forpackages, drivers and applications.
  • Work with customers in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems with businesscommunication systems.
  • Act as a source of technical expertise to others in own area.
  • Explain difficult concepts to a variety of audiences and ensure meaning is understood.
  • Design, code and write custom and packaged real-time communication applications(including Contact Center and Unified Communication applications) using both standardnsoftware development platforms and tools as well as APIs/tools.
  • Perform software development in compliance with software development models like Agile/XP/Scrum. Ability to execute software unit testing, troubleshooting, corrections,etc. as teams are geographically distributed, interaction is in English as official language.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior colleagues
  • Requirements:

  • Engineering Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development or software support field
  • Programming skills in at least one of the major languages (Java, C/C++, C#)
  • Familiar with solution performance analysis and exercising code
  • Application Servers (Tomcat, Websphere and/or JBoss)
  • OS skills – Windows / Unix / Linux
  • Experience in Software Engineering best practices
  • Experience with ITIL and tools that support this methodology
  • Self-Learning and motivated by challenges
  • Analytical thinking
  • Interested in learning new technologies
