Job Summary
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) automation, and DevOps practices, ensuring a secure, compliant, and efficient migration of workloads and services.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Implement GCP Infrastructure:
Build scalable, secure, and compliant infrastructure using Terraform and GCP-native services.
Enable metro zone alignment, VPC design, and federated identity authentication (e.g., with Azure AD, Okta).
Cloud Migration Execution:
Lead the migration of complex workloads from Azure/AWS to GCP.
Collaborate with platform, application, and network teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration.
Automation & DevOps Enablement:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery.
Implement observability, monitoring, and logging frameworks using GCP-native tools (Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring, etc.).
Security & Compliance:
Apply best practices for IAM, KMS, encryption, and service identity.
Work closely with InfoSec to ensure all configurations meet enterprise and regulatory compliance standards.
Collaboration & Governance:
Partner with Cloud Architecture, Security, and Networking teams to maintain platform consistency.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and production readiness assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or Platform Engineering, with at least 2+ years hands-on with GCP.
Strong knowledge of Terraform (HCL) and IaC best practices.
Expertise in GCP services: VPC, IAM, GKE, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL/BigQuery.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Cloud Build, or similar).
Familiarity with federated authentication and hybrid connectivity (VPN, Interconnect, Cloud DNS, etc.).
Proficiency in Linux administration, network troubleshooting, and cloud security controls.
Knowledge of Azure and AWS is a plus, especially for cross-cloud migration contexts.
Preferred Qualifications
GCP Professional certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer) preferred.
Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE).
Familiarity with service mesh, policy automation, and compliance-as-code frameworks.
Background in supporting enterprise-scale migrations or regulated environments (finance, insurance, or data-intensive domains).

Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams.
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with multiple stakeholders.
