ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Partof India’s Leadership Team, leads the strategic direction ofmarketing efforts within the local market, ensuring alignment witharea and global objectives while driving businessgrowth.
  • Responsible for all aspects ofMarketing activities including HCP, Consumer, Digital, CRM andCustomer Experience.
  • Responsible for leadingthe marketing team, optimizing execution, and ensuring marketingstrategies contribute to long-termsuccess.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and executelong-term marketing strategies that align with global and areaobjectives.
  • Provide leadership to India’smarketing team, ensuring clear goals, performance tracking, andcontinuous development.
  • Collaborate withaffiliate leadership team and stakeholders in Commercial, Sales,Medical etc., to align marketing execution with businesspriorities.
  • Oversee marketing budgetallocation, ensuring investments drive business growth and optimizeROI.
  • Marketing execution with flair andinnovation: ensure that FreeStyle Libre brand achieves high shareof voice and a strong link between marketing initiatives and salesperformance. Track and analyze marketing performance, leveraginginsights to refine strategies and improveexecution.
  • Lead development of marketinginsights/slides for annual planning, business reviews andLBE.
  • Represent the affiliate in area and globalmarketing discussions, advocating for local market needs andensuring strategy alignment.
  • Ensure marketingcompliance with all legal and regulatoryrequirements.
  • Develop strong relationships withkey external partners, including agencies, media, and vendors, todrive marketing effectiveness.
  • Lead innovationefforts, piloting new marketing approaches and evaluating theirpotential for scale.
  • Foster a culture ofcollaboration, data-driven decision-making, and continuousimprovement across the marketingteam.

QUALIFICATIONs &EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree inbusiness management, Science or other relevant fields. AdvancedDegree such as MBA a plus.
  • 10 to 15 years’relevant experience in Marketing or Brand Management, preferably inthe pharmaceutical, medical device or consumer healthindustry.
  • Proven track record in developing andexecuting integrated marketing plans, preferably with omni-channelmarketing experience.
  • More than 5 years ofmanagerial experience with strong leadership capability. Ability tomotivate and coach a team of marketingprofessionals.
  • Proven ability to influencesenior-level stakeholders and skillfully communication withinsights and data.
  • Excellent communicationskills and the ability to influence, lead, negotiate, and workeffectively at all levels. Strong collaboration skills withcross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiar with MSOffice Suite of Products (PowerBI, MS Teams, Excel, PPT) and CRMplatforms (Veeva Vault, Salesforceetc.).
