About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead and scale a talented team building next-generation healthcare technology solutions that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Drive Engineering Excellence

– Establish and enforce best practices across architecture, development, testing, and deployment.

– Ensure high availability, security, and performance of healthcare systems.

– Build a strong engineering culture emphasizing code quality, maintainability, and innovation.

– Promote AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices.

– Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).

Metrics-Driven Decision Making

– Define and track engineering KPIs—code quality, velocity, uptime, defect rates.

– Use metrics, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency and delivery predictability.

– Drive data-backed decision-making across engineering teams.

Team Leadership

– Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.

– Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

– Set clear goals and provide regular feedback for career and technical growth.

– Guide teams in adopting AI-powered development tools.

Stakeholder & Product Collaboration

– Partner with product managers, clinicians, and business leaders to align priorities.

– Translate product requirements into scalable, compliant technical solutions.

– Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Delivery Ownership

– Oversee full project lifecycle—from planning to deployment.

– Ensure timely, high-quality releases supported by automation and robust testing.

– Improve CI/CD, release management, and operational reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

– 12+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in people management.

– Strong background in building scalable, complex software systems (healthcare domain preferred).

– Expertise in C# and .NET.

– Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.G., GitHub Copilot).

– Strong understanding of AI-based code generation, review, and testing practices.

– Proven experience integrating AI tools for productivity and quality enhancement.

– Solid CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

– Strong automation testing skills and adherence to TDD.

– Experience with UI frameworks such as React.

– Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

– Familiarity with Azure/AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

– Deep understanding of agile methodologies and engineering management best practices.

– Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
