Manager Material Planning & Analytics Support is a critical leadership role within Deltas Technology Hub, responsible for integrating advanced analytics and reporting with operational material management to drive efficiency and strategic decision-making. This position oversees a team of specialists who manage both technical reporting and day-to-day material support functions, ensuring seamless coordination between data insights and supply chain operations.The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership capability, and business acumen. The leader will oversee and provide guidance on data analytics, report creation and automation, dashboard creation, purchase order placement, invoicing issues, and material master data integrity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Leadership: Supervise Technical Specialists and Materials Analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Analytics Oversight: Direct the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, and Python.
- Process Optimization: Ensure efficient handling of material forecasting, parts ordering, vendor coordination, invoice resolution, and material master data setup.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers, Procurement, and Material Planning leadership to align analytics and operational support with business objectives.
- Data Governance: Maintain accuracy and integrity of material data, source lists, and vendor pricing information.
- Technology Transition: Oversee migration of reporting systems from SQL to Python and support cloud platform transitions (e.g., AWS).
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements across analytics and material support functions.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety-conscious behaviors and company standards in all processes.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):
- 12+ Years of working experiences in Supply Chain, procurement, and inventory management
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in an aviation-related field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering)
- 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, material planning.
- Strong technical expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP required).
- Knowledge of vendor management, purchase order processes, and invoice reconciliation.
- Intermediate ability with technical manuals, catalogs, and drawings.
- Should be familiar with ATA systems and their applications.
- Basic to Intermediate ability with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Teams, etc)
- Should have excellent written and verbal communications skills; able to handle several projects simultaneously with minimum supervision; task-oriented with attention to detail, well organized and able to prioritize work to meet established deadlines; and able to coordinate workflow to multiple disciplines.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, multitasking, analytics, organization, and time management.
- Must have previous leadership experience and should have held People Management Roles.
- Must be able to embrace and appreciate the value of diverse people, thinking and styles.
