McDonalds has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, HR Systems, responsible for leading the functional strategy, CR governance, and delivery of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solutions globally. This role will drive implementations, system optimization, Release management and continuous improvement while managing a team of functional consultants. The position will also play a key role in leveraging automation and AI-driven capabilities to enhance HR processes, data quality, and employee experience. The candidate is expected to reside within India.

  • Oversee the ongoing management, roadmap, and evolution of HR systems, ensuring platforms meet business needs and scale with organizational priorities.
  • Lead and support end-to-end implementations and enhancements, including requirement gathering, functional design, configuration oversight, testing, deployment, and postgolive stabilization.
  • Own change request (CR) intake, prioritization, and BRD creation, UAT approval and in partnership with business and AMS teams.
  • Ensure seamless and secure integration between HR systems and related enterprise tools to provide unified employee experience.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity, governance, and compliance with global and local regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPRA).
  • Exposure to SAP Joule use cases within SuccessFactors or any other automation platform (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere), including AIassisted insights, guided user actions, data quality prompts, and intelligent support for HR administrators and manager
  • Own functional oversight of AMS operations for EC Core, including incident trends, defect root cause analysis, backlog prioritization, and service quality improvement.
  • Act as the functional escalation point for production issues, ensuring timely resolution and business communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement of AMS processes, knowledge management, and automation of recurring support activities.
  • Provide functional oversight and design leadership; configuration and build activities are primarily executed by team members or AMS partners.
  • Experience in designing and managing Role base access controls at an Enterprise level.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SuccessFactors functional resources.
  • Provide functional direction, prioritization, and quality assurance for team deliverables.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support capability building within the team, including emerging technologies, automation & AI.
  • Partner with AMS and technical teams to ensure high-quality system support, enhancements, and releases.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to automate HR processes using SAP SuccessFactors capabilities and adjacent automation tools.
  • Identify, prioritize, and enable automation and AI use cases across SuccessFactors and adjacent HR platforms, including virtual agents, guided self-service, intelligent workflows, and data-driven insights, in partnership with Digital and Technology teams.
  • Partner with HR Technology and Digital teams to embed automation and AI into EC Core processes.
  • Continuously evaluate new SAP innovations, AI use cases, and automation opportunities.
  • Act as the primary functional point of contact for business stakeholders across regions.
  • Translate business needs into scalable functional solutions aligned with global HR strategy.
  • Manage relationships with system integrators and vendors, ensuring delivery quality and SLA adherence.
  • Leverage digital experience analytics, workforce data, and performance insights to drive platform enhancements and self-service adoption.
  • Use system metrics, audit findings, and user feedback to drive improvements.
  • Monitor emerging HR tech innovations, AI capabilities, workflow automation trends, and digital experience best practices to proactively evolve the HR tech landscape.
  • Ensure readiness for releases, upgrades, and regulatory changes.
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Technology, Business Systems, or related field.
  • Strong experience working with HR systems and usage of JIRA and ServiceNow applications.
  • Strong collaboration experience with global teams across multiple regions.
  • Expertise in leading crossfunctional initiatives to deliver enterprise outcomes.
  • Proven ability as a people manager able to lead diverse, global teams and foster innovation, agility, and continuous learning.
  • English proficiency (written and verbal IRL Level 4).
  • Proficiency in HCM systems such as SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of digital experience architecture, workflow orchestration, and platform integration models.
  • Experience leading or governing AMS engagements for SAP SuccessFactors, including backlog management, release coordination, and SLA-driven delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with automation (RPA tools UiPath or similar), AI/ML features, virtual agents, case management optimization, and predictive analytics within HR platforms.
  • Solid capabilities in data analysis, troubleshooting, functional design, system configuration, and large-scale project delivery.
  • In-depth understanding of HR data practices, data security, and audit compliance requirements.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate HR operational needs into scalable digital solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholderinfluencing skills.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and driving adoption of global HR technology solutions.

  • RPA Certification (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or equivalent)
