Are you a Case Management Team Leader or currently a Team Leader ready to take the next step in your career?Do you have a passion for setting up people for success?We are seeking an experienced and community‑minded leader to manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Remote Australia Employment Service (RAES). This role provides hands‑on operational management while delivering strategic leadership that supports participants to build skills, gain employment, and reduce barriers to participation. You will also play a key role in developing and supporting social enterprise projects that create sustainable economic opportunities and strengthen community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run day‑to‑day RAES operations with a hands‑on, supportive leadership approach.
  • Create and deliver activities that build confidence, skills, and job readiness.
  • Facilitate group programs and training that reflect community needs.
  • Mentor and guide staff, helping them grow professionally.
  • Build strong relationships with community members, employers, and service providers.
  • Adapt programs based on feedback and changing community priorities.
  • Support the development of social enterprises that create local jobs and income.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, culturally respectful workplace.
  • Use data and performance insights to strengthen service delivery.

About You

  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and mentoring teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to motivate staff and participants toward achieving program goals.
  • Previous experience as an Employment Consultant, Activity Coordinator, Site Manager, or similar within the RAES system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant internal/external business systems.

We have this position available in Gapuwiyak which is in Arnhem Land,  NT. This is not a FIFO position. You will be required to be based in the community.
