About the Role

K12 Techno Services is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head – STEM to lead and scale STEM initiatives across 90+ partner schools nationwide.

This is a strategic leadership role responsible for heading all specialized sub-departments within STEM, including Design & Technology, Hydroponics, Horticulture, Coding, Robotics, DIY WoodWorks, R&D, STEM Kits, Financial Literacy, and Astronomy.

The role involves leading 8+ specialized verticals and managing a team of 50+ professionals to design and implement hands-on, future-ready programs aligned with 21st-century learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of STEM programs across 100+ schools.
  • Oversee curriculum development across Design & Technology, Hydroponics, Horticulture, Coding, Robotics, DIY WoodWorks, R&D, STEM Kits, Financial Literacy, and Astronomy.
  • Drive integration of practical agricultural sciences, sustainability, and applied learning modules within Hydroponics and Horticulture verticals.
  • Ensure alignment with NEP guidelines and global STEM standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 50+ curriculum developers and trainers across all STEM sub-departments.
  • Drive innovation in AI, IoT, Robotics Automation, Design Thinking, and sustainability-based learning modules.
  • Collaborate with school leadership and stakeholders for seamless execution.
  • Monitor budgets, vendor partnerships, and program performance metrics.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in STEM education, innovation-based learning, and applied sciences.
  • Ability to strategically lead and scale multiple academic sub-departments including agriculture-based verticals like Hydroponics and Horticulture.
  • Proven experience in leading multi-department academic teams.
  • Excellent curriculum design and academic strategy capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to scale programs across multiple locations.
