Role Overview

The HR Generalist will be responsible for end-to-end field recruitment, structured onboarding, and grievance handling for field staff across Delhi.

This is a hands-on, field-intensive HR role requiring strong experience in bulk hiring, employee lifecycle management, and resolving on-ground workforce concerns in a fast-paced operational environment.

The role will also support employee engagement initiatives at the Delhi corporate office to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Hiring (Field Staff)

  • Manage end-to-end bulk hiring for field roles (technicians, operators, packers and loaders, etc.)
  • Source candidates through job portals, field drives, local vendors, referral networks, and community hiring channels
  • Conduct walk-in drives and coordinate field recruitment campaigns
  • Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates efficiently to meet hiring targets
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely closure of open positions
  • Build a consistent pipeline for high-volume and replacement hiring

Onboarding & Deployment

  • Handle complete onboarding formalities including documentation, offer letters, and joining processes
  • Ensure timely background verification and statutory compliance documentation
  • Conduct induction and orientation for field employees
  • Coordinate with operations teams for smooth deployment and location allocation
  • Track early-stage attrition and improve onboarding experience

Field HR Operations & Grievance Handling

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for field employees
  • Handle field staff grievances related to attendance, salary, deployment, shift allocation, and workplace concerns
  • Conduct regular field visits to understand employee issues and improve engagement
  • Support disciplinary processes in coordination with operations
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in field recruitment, bulk hiring, and field HR operations
  • Proven experience in employee onboarding and grievance handling for blue/field workforce
  • Strong understanding of HR documentation and statutory compliance
  • Fluent in English and Hindi (mandatory)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in logistics, EV, mobility, or operations-driven companies
  • Familiarity with Delhi job market and local hiring channels
  • Comfortable with regular field travel and on-ground coordination
