We are now expanding our team and looking for a Senior Gemologist who brings strong gemstone expertise and commercial insight.
What You’ll Do
As our Gemologist Expert, you will:
• Evaluate and grade gemstones with scientific precision
• Create detailed gem reports (certification-ready)
• Build and maintain buying standards & quality control
• Lead gemstone authentication for sourcing partners
• Train sales & ecom teams on gem properties & value communication
• Write gemstone content — educational + persuasive
• Support product categorization & pricing strategy
• Help resolve customer gemstone queries with authority
Must-Have Skills & Experience
3–8+ years working with gemstones (grading, evaluation, sourcing, sales)
Strong knowledge of minerals, clarity, color, cut, treatments & valuation
Experience with gem lab tools (refractometer, loupe, spectroscope, etc.)
Excellent written & verbal communication
E-commerce or retail gemstone experience preferred
Ability to craft educational content as well as concise product narratives

GIA / IGI / FGA certification
Experience with e-commerce catalogs & SEO-driven content
Fluency in gemstone metaphysical knowledge
