Job Description:

The main missions and activities are as follows:

  • Stationed at Compressor Supplier’s manufacturing facility acting as Company representative and primary point of contact between Supplier and Company project team on a schedule-critical PO.
  • Communicate regularly with Company project team – engineering, project management, Procurement, Quality and other stakeholders.
  • Report regularly to Project team on progress of PO – engineering, manufacturing, QA, PO milestones and flag any concerns to the project team.
  • Participate in meetings held at Supplier’s works and at the CTR offices (as required), including but not limited to kick-off meeting, pre-inspection meeting and progress review / expediting meetings.
  • Expedite Supplier for closure of actions from meetings / reviews within the agreed due date(s).
  • Monitor closely Supplier’s progress in engineering, manufacturing and QA activities to ensure PO execution is progressing smoothly, efficiently and within the agreed time schedule.
  • Monitor closely progress of bought-out items – PO placement, engineering, inspection / testing, delivery to compressor Supplier’ works and perform visits to sub-supplier’s works, as required.
  • Expedite Supplier for timely submission of Supplier drawings and documents as per the approved Supplier Document Register and facilitate closure of project’s comments on Supplier deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Supplier teams to ensure adherence with PO specifications with the required level of Quality and HSE standards.
  • Collaborate with project and Supplier teams for quick resolution of technical issues.
  • Expedite engineering inputs from Supplier for interface design between package and plant and for design reviews.
  • Facilitate and expedite resolution of Supplier deviation requests and non-conformance reports in collaboration with project team.
  • Review the supplier/subcontractors Inspection and Test Plan(s) and quality procedure(s).
  • Monitor and control the implementation of the approved Inspection and Test Plan(s) at supplier and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that the manufacturing/inspection activities are closely monitored by the EPC Contractor’s inspection team

Professional experience:

  • Degree: Diploma/ Degree in technical discipline,
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry or Heavy industries with similar large-scale projects and context in Contract, Engineering and Construction activities for Onshore (or Onshore yards) projects,
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in design and quality control of rotating equipment, including compressors.
  • Knowledge of API 610
