Business Development Manager – Electronic Warfare (EW) Solutions

We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager – Electronic Warfare Solutions to lead strategic growth initiatives across India and global defence markets.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong defence industry networks, technical understanding of EW systems, and a proven track record in securing defence contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Growth Strategy

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Electronic Warfare product lines

• Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders including MoD (India), DRDO, Indian Armed Forces, and global defence primes

• Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to position solutions effectively

Opportunity Development

• Engage early in procurement cycles and influence requirement shaping

• Build strategic partnerships with defence agencies and industry partners

• Align internal product roadmap with evolving defence needs

Pipeline & Revenue Management

• Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline

• Forecast revenue, order intake, and conversion metrics

• Work closely with technical and product teams to align solutions with market opportunities

Proposal & Bid Leadership

• Lead end-to-end proposal development including pricing strategy and technical compliance

• Coordinate with engineering, finance, and legal teams for successful bid submissions

Customer Engagement

• Maintain strong relationships with senior officials across MoD, DRDO, and Armed Forces

• Represent the organization at defence conferences, demonstrations, and strategic workshops

Ideal Candidate Profile

✔ Proven track record in closing multi-million-dollar defence contracts

✔ Strong understanding of Electronic Warfare, SIGINT, COMINT, ELINT systems, and jamming technologies

✔ Established networks within Indian Armed Forces, DRDO, or Defence PSUs

✔ Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills

Knowledge of defence standards such as:

  • MIL-STD-461 / MIL-STD-464
  • STANAG-4691
  • DO-254 / DO-178C
  • DAP 2020 procurement framework

Education

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Defence Technology, or related fields

Experience

8+ years in defence business development or technical sales

Minimum 4 years working with EW / SIGINT / COMINT programs
