Role Description

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Pipeline Engineering: Proactively identify and qualify high-potential leads through market research, networking, and social selling.
  • Outbound Excellence: Execute cold calling and email sequences with a focus on value-driven communication rather than high-volume scripts.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends in the New Delhi tech ecosystem to identify new verticals for Garnek.io.

The Sales Cycle & Conversion

  • Consultative Selling: Conduct high-energy product demonstrations that focus on solving specific pain points rather than just listing features.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Navigate complex procurement processes, handle objections with poise, and manage contract negotiations to ensure win-win outcomes.
  • Onboarding Orchestration: Lead the initial transition from “Prospect” to “Power User,” ensuring a seamless handoff and immediate time-to-value for the client.

Account Management & Growth

  • Primary Point of Contact: Act as the face of Garnek.io, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction through regular check-ins and proactive support.
  • Revenue Expansion: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within your existing portfolio to maximize Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Churn Mitigation: Monitor account health, resolve technical or billing friction, and ensure long-term retention through relationship building.

Strategy & Reporting

  • CRM Discipline: Maintain impeccable records in the CRM to provide accurate forecasting and data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Feedback Loop: Work closely with the Product team to relay client feedback, helping shape the future roadmap of Garnek.io.

Key Success Metrics

To give you an idea of how we measure impact in this role:

  • New Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) from acquisitions.
  • Conversion Rate from demo to closed-won.
  • Account Growth % through upselling.
  • Customer Retention Rate within your assigned portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Software Sales and Sales skills to drive business growth and meet sales targets
  • Strong Sales Management experience, including developing strategies and managing sales teams
  • Proficiency in Customer Service and building strong, lasting client relationships
  • Proficient Negotiation skills to handle contracts and close deals effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
  • Experience in the technology or software industry is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is highly desirable
