Our goal is to become the press infrastructure for architecture studios worldwide.
Role Overview
We are looking for an Architecture Media & PR Associate who will help architecture studios gain visibility in global architecture media.
This role focuses on PR services for studios, including preparing press materials, coordinating media submissions, and assisting studios in positioning their work for global publications and awards.
You will work closely with architecture studios and support them in presenting their projects effectively to the international design media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
PR Strategy Support
- Assist in developing PR strategies for architecture studios
- Identify suitable architecture magazines and media platforms for project submissions
Press Pack Preparation
- Organize and prepare professional press kits for projects
- Structure project descriptions, credits, and materials for media distribution
Media Submissions
- Coordinate targeted submissions to architecture magazines and online publications
- Track publication status and maintain submission records
Award Submissions
- Identify relevant architecture awards for projects
- Prepare and manage award submissions
Studio Advisory
- Guide studios on how to present their projects for media visibility
- Support studios in improving their press materials and storytelling
Client Conversion
- Identify studios that may benefit from BAM’s PR services
- Participate in meetings and discussions with studios interested in media exposure
Ideal Candidate
- Background in Architecture, Architectural Journalism, Design, or Communications
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Interest in architecture media and global publications
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable interacting with international studios
- Curious about architecture and design from around the world
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with architecture magazines and design media
- Experience writing about architecture or design
- Understanding of press kits and media submissions
