Job Description:Job Summary:
Develops and executes a comprehensive enterprise reporting strategy to drive data-driven decision-making across all business units and departments. Leads a team of reporting professionals, collaborating with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, designing and implementing robust reporting solutions, and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
Responsibilities:
Leads Enterprise Reporting team that oversees the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise reporting systems and tools.Ensures data accuracy, integrity, and availability, and establishes data governance processes and policies.Collaborate with IT teams to manage data infrastructure, database management, and integration with various data sources.Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, clients and prospects, ensuring a clear understanding of KPIs, reporting and Data strategy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of reporting initiatives with overall business processes.Lead team in conducting in-depth analysis of complex data sets, identify trends, patterns, and insights, and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.Provide data-driven recommendations and insights to support strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and performance improvement initiatives.Customer and prospect facing role in support of Sales Cycle (RFPs, presentations and demonstrations). Identify and address potential risks related to data quality, privacy, and security within reporting systems.Develop and implement appropriate controls and safeguards to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.Provides guidance, mentorship, and performance management.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, encourage professional development, and ensure that the team delivers accurate, timely, and insightful reports to stakeholders.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in reporting and data analytics.Continuously evaluate and enhance reporting processes, tools, and methodologies to drive innovation, increase efficiency, and improve the overall quality of reporting deliverables.Skills Requirements:
Strong technical, analytical, and leadership skills including: Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and reporting methodologies.Proficiency in using reporting tools and platforms, such as business intelligence software, data visualization tools, and enterprise reporting systems, is crucial.Ability to think strategically and develop a long-term vision for enterprise reporting within the organization.Align reporting initiatives with business objectives, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and develop strategies to effectively measure and monitor performance.Excellent leadership skills to guide and motivate a team of reporting professionals.This includes providing clear direction, setting performance expectations, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting professional development.Effective communication is essential in this role to collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and IT teams.Translate technical concepts into business terms, present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, and influence stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making. Strong understanding of the organization’s industry, business model, and objectives. Adaptable, open to learning new technologies and methodologies, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal. Type and/or sit for extended periods of time.
