Workday Integration / Workday Functional Consultant (Advanced Compensation / Absence / Talent Management)

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Workday Consultant to join our team on a long-term remote contract. This role is open to professionals with strong experience in either – Workday Integrations or Workday Functional modules such as Advanced Compensation, Absence, or Talent Management.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on Workday implementation and support experience, strong configuration skills, and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Integration Track
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using tools such as EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Workday APIs
- Develop inbound and outbound integrations with third-party systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and data errors
- Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions
- Ensure integrations meet performance, security, and compliance requirements
- Support Workday releases, testing, and deployments
Workday Functional Track (Advanced Compensation / Absence / Talent Management)
- Configure and maintain Workday modules including Advanced Compensation, Absence Management, and Talent Management
- Partner with HR stakeholders to gather business requirements and implement solutions
- Support configuration changes, business process framework updates, and reporting
- Assist with annual cycles such as compensation reviews, talent reviews, and absence policy updates
- Conduct system testing, UAT support, and release management
- Provide ongoing functional support and troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
- 3–8+ years of Workday experience
- Strong experience in either:
- Workday Integrations, OR
- Workday Functional modules (Advanced Compensation / Absence / Talent)
- Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and support
- Experience with Workday business process framework
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global teams
- Experience supporting Workday production environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday Studio, XSLT, XML, and Web Services
- Experience with Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite)
- Prior Workday implementation or deployment experience
- Workday certification in relevant modules
