About this team:

The Technology Manager, Network Operations and Asset Protection is responsible for establish a new team with the charter of building a world class network operations center, covering lululemon global sites and network communications. In addition to monitoring and managing the network components, this team will also monitor and manage our Asset Protection Video Surveillance and Access Control (badging) systems. Today we outsource this capability to managed-service vendors.Our goal in bringing this capability in-house is to improve our service through robust observability platforms, automated delivery and response systems, and best-in-class support processes. The leader of this team is responsible for the operating structure, processes, staffing, and budget. In addition to building the network operations center team and processes, this leader will build and lead a team of network engineers focused on advancing network observability and automation. This includes defining the strategy and platforms for observability & network automation/self-service. The leader will establish & manage the roadmap of network observability capabilities and features, provide the team with the necessary structure & processes for ensuring design & engineering is handled with quality and meets lululemon policy and standards, and managing delivery and support of these platforms and capabilities. This role will need to work in a collaborative and supportive manner with many cross-functional teams, as well as develop, maintain, and evolve our process for managing vendors, delivery programs, support processes and metrics, network and infrastructure standards, and ensure the portfolio of projects are delivered successfully. The main partners include the North America Network Operations team and Global Network engineering team. Core Infrastructure, Retail and Distribution Tech teams will also be strong partners.Our network and asset protection platforms are top quartile systems. We use Cisco, Meraki, Aviatrix, Palo Alto, zScaler, Netbox, Solarwinds, SoLink, Keyscan and ServiceNow.

Core Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Build and operate a best-in-class network operations center. Build the team, tools, and processes necessary to run a best-in-class network operations center. Insource work that is currently handled by managed-service providers.
  • Build out the team, tools, and processes to cover asset protection systems (video surveillance and access control)
  • Partner with the North America Network operations lead to ensure lululemon networks are highly reliable, secure, resilient and scale to meet the demands of lululemon business growth.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex network, circuit delivery, video surveillance, access control, and infrastructure issues.
  • Drive consistent execution of incident, problem, and change management processes in alignment with global standards.

Engineering Delivery:

  • Manage annual and quarterly roadmaps for platform engineering improvements for network observability systems, network configuration management systems, and network automation.
  • Build and manage a team of engineers focused on delivering the network engineering roadmap.
  • Ensure execution remains aligned with priorities defined in partnership with NA leaders.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Collaborate closely with NA leaders and global stakeholders to align strategy, execution, and outcomes.
  • Act as a bridge between India-based teams and NA partners, ensuring clarity, accountability, and effective communication.

People Leadership:

  • Coach, guide, and develop team members.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support performance management and talent growth within the India organization.

Qualifications:

  • 12-14yrs+ experience in network operations.
  • Experience in building and executing strategy.Demonstrates strong leadership presence and ability to enroll global teams to drive alignment and execution of strategy.
  • Able to demonstrate leadership in building/managing a network operations center.
  • Experience managing networks in global fortune 500+ business.
  • Experience leading technical programs in this domain.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and physical security technologies. Preferred systems includeCisco, Meraki, Aviatrix, Palo Alto, Solarwinds, Netbox
  • Experience with observability platform design, including design of alerts and automated system responses to alerts.
  • Experience guiding teams withnetwork automation design, build, test, and delivery.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Workplace Arrangement

  • InPerson: Work primarily from India Office, 45 days per week. (Mandatory)
