Job Mission

  • You will be the financial architect of our scaling phase.
  • Your mission is to establish an institutional, Series A–ready financial foundation, ensure rigorous
  • compliance by owning the financial books, and successfully lead the capital raise by engaging and
  • closing UHNIs, Family Offices, and institutional funds.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising & Investor Relations (Primary Focus): Lead the financial strategy and execution for our Series A funding round. Personally manage relationships and outreach with UHNIs, HNIs, Family Offices, Private Equity (PE) firms, and Fund Houses to secure investment.

  • Strategic Communications & Positioning: Develop and articulate the company’s investment story, vision, and strategy to investors and analysts.
  • Earnings & Financial Reporting: Manage the quarterly earnings process, including scripts, Q&A documents, and presentations.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for buy-side/sell-side analysts and institutional investors to attract and retain shareholders.
  • Market Intelligence & Feedback: Analyze competitor behavior, stock price movements, and market trends to advise leadership on valuation impacts.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Disclosure: Ensure all communicated information complies with legal and regulatory standards (e.g., SEC regulations).
  • Crisis Management: Manage communication during sensitive periods, such as financial volatility or corporate restructuring, to protect the company’s reputation.
  • Investor Events: Organize roadshows, investor days, conferences, and site visits

VC/PE or High-Growth Operator Track Record (Mandatory):

  • 5+ years of progressive experience, including significant tenure at a Series A/B funded startup OR as an investor (Analyst/Principal) at a Venture Capital or Growth Equity Fund.
  • Fundraising Expertise & Network: Proven experience managing the financial function during and after a successful Series A fundraise.
  • Prior Experience: directly engaging with and presenting to a diverse set of investors, including Family Offices and institutional funds.
  • Scaling Systems Architect: Proven ability to transition a startup’s finance function from basic bookkeeping to institutional-grade MIS/ERP systems and accounting standards required for Series A scale.
  • Financial Acumen & Rigor: Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and structuring transactions. Demonstrated ownership and mastery of managing the internal financial books and compliance environment.
  • Industry Fit: Previous experience in consumer tech, D2C, or hyperlocal services is highly preferred.
