About the Company

We are seeking an experienced Telerik Reporting Migration Specialist to support the migration of legacy Crystal Reports to Telerik Reports as part of a broader modernization initiative.

About the Role

The engagement focuses on analysis, migration, validation, and recommendations related to report hosting with no changes to existing business logic. The role will work in parallel with another vendor modernizing the application platform to .NET 8 Blazor, ensuring reporting continuity and readiness for future embedding.

Responsibilities

  • Migrate and validate 9195 existing Crystal Reports currently embedded in a .NET 4 reporting portal to Telerik Reporting.
  • Report complexity breakdown:
  • 50 Simple reports
  • 30 Medium-complex reports
  • 10 Complex reports
  • Perform end-to-end migration using provided rpt files from legacy WCF Web Services.
  • Ensure all reports function as-is post-migration with:
  • No changes to existing business logic
  • No modifications to inline SQL queries
  • No changes to database stored procedures
  • Validate report accuracy, data integrity, formatting, and performance against the existing Crystal Reports.
  • Support 100-150 active business users accessing reports via role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Provide a technical recommendation as part of the proposal on:
  • Embedding Telerik reports directly into the application portal or
  • Hosting reports independently using Telerik Report Server.

  • Experience: 3 to 5 Years
  • Location: Pan India
  • Notice Period: 0-30 days Max
