Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist at Apollo Laser Eye Hospital in Moradabad. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, diagnosing vision-related issues, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing pre- and post-operative care. The role also involves assisting in advanced diagnostic procedures and working closely with ophthalmologists to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintaining accurate records and educating patients on eye health will also be integral to the position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing a range of vision and eye health issues
- Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and providing contact lens fittings
- Familiarity with advanced diagnostic tools and procedures, especially in areas like Retina, Cornea, and Glaucoma
- Solid knowledge of pre- and post-operative eye care practices
- Excellent communication skills and patient education abilities to convey eye health and treatment information
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively alongside ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry from a recognized institution
- Experience in an eye care clinic or hospital is preferred
