Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist based in Ahmedabad. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing vision and eye health issues, and prescribing corrective lenses or treatment plans as needed. Additional duties include educating patients on proper eye care, managing patient records, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in performing eye examinations, diagnosing vision conditions, and prescribing corrective solutions
- Strong knowledge of vision science, including visual optics, eye anatomy, and eye diseases
- Effective patient counseling and communication skills to provide clear instructions and care advice
- Proficiency in using optometric equipment and technology for diagnoses and treatment planning
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Problem-solving skills to address patient concerns and tailor treatment options
- Valid optometry license and relevant certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry or a related field
- Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is advantageous
