Role Description:

Your role: As head of the Head of Sales Middle Layer, you will be leading a local development team (Requirements

Engineers, Software Engineers and Test Engineers) to deliver projects and maintenance for ERGO s Sales Systems. You

will have full functional and technical responsibility for your team and their results. Functionally you will report to the

Head of Product Cluster Tied Agents, legally to a local leader in India.

Together with your team you will be part of a high performing international team and will be shaping the future of our IT-

Systems that are key to ERGO s continuous success.

As part of our international leadership team you will be supporting and driving the transition of the organization to a fully

integrated international team

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

o Management of the organizational unit and leadership of employees

o Responsibility, planning and control of the unit's capacity utilization and costs

o Skill management, including determination of qualification requirements, derivation and organization of training and

education measures

o Responsibility for the unit's application systems in terms of performance, stability, scalability, maintainability, costs

and further development

o Driving change

Key Competencies & Skills required

Technical Skills:

o

Experience in Agile Practices (Scrum, Kanban and Lean methodologies)

o

Microsoft Excel/PPT/Teams/Sharepoint

Nice to have:

o Knowledge of Insurance domain

o Technical Skills in .Net core/C#/Web/Cloud-Tools

o Collaboration Tools: Jira /Sharepoint

o Service Now

Behavioral Skills:

o Strong Willingness and ability to lead and shape the team and the future IT-

solutions for ERGO s sales organization

o Taking over responsibility

Previous Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Educational

Qualification:

o

University Degree in Computer Science, or a related subject; or demonstrated

knowledge in the relevant subject areas.

Certification if any:

Years Experience & Knowledge:

o Leadership experience

o Fluency in English is mandatory, language skills, both verbally and in writing

(Polish and/or German desirable)

o Knowledge of key metrics needed to monitor the test process

o Able to work in diverse projects in a performance-oriented culture.

o Experience working in medium to large projects

o In-depth knowledge and practical experience of the IT planning, development and

testing

o Strong ability to quickly grasp, analyse and precisely formulate complex issues

o Professional Stakeholder Management
