Project Director (Saudi Arabia)

We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Director (Saudi Arabia) to join our esteemed client’s team. This leadership role involves the strategic oversight and management of large-scale projects within the region, ensuring excellence in delivery and alignment with the company’s goals. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for providing direction and support to project teams, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and fostering relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage comprehensive project planning and execution processes, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
• Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling, ensuring projects are delivered on scope and within financial parameters.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Implement project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
• Foster an innovative and results-driven project culture among team members.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to senior management.
• Mentor and develop project managers and teams, ensuring capacity building and high performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects successfully and effectively.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices, particularly in Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
