TARGET PROFILE: Commissioned Officers (Army, Navy, Air Force, Paramilitary)
THE MANDATE: This is a High-Ownership, Execution-Heavy leadership role. You are effectively the “Commanding Officer” of a city cluster. Urban Company doesn’t want “office-only” managers; they need leaders who will be on the ground, visiting training centers, meeting service partners, and troubleshooting supply-chain bottlenecks in real-time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
End-to-End Business Ownership: Drive the supply, training, onboarding, and daily operations for your city cluster.
On-Ground Execution: Move beyond dashboards to be deeply “hands-on” with the service delivery ecosystem.
High-Performance Leadership: Build and coach teams of category managers and operations associates, fostering a culture of accountability.
Quality & Growth: Ensure service quality and professional availability are maintained while scaling the business.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Category teams to pilot and scale growth initiatives.
Requirements
Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officers: From any branch (Army/Navy/Air Force/Paramilitary).
Recent Veterans: Those who have transitioned out of the forces from January 2024 onwards.
Skills: First-principles problem solving, ability to lead under pressure, and a “mission-first” mindset.
Corporate Experience: NOT mandatory. UC values your military leadership over corporate tenure.
Language: Proficiency in the local language of the city you apply for is a significant plus.
