We offer complete customisation options in size, material and finish. We started working with local craftsman to bring alive our design ideas in 2016. Currently we have 3 distinctive workshops spread across 20,000 sqft. area, with expertise in woodwork, metal work and upholstery. We have done over 100+ projects pan India. Purpose Of The Position
The Drawing Draftsperson plays a crucial role in the manufacturing industry by creating detailed technical drawings and plans that guide the production process. They collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to translate design concepts into precise drawings and schematics. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality drawings.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Create detailed technical drawings, using CAD software, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and design concepts.
- Assist in selecting appropriate materials and components based on project specifications and cost-effectiveness.
- Review drawings for accuracy and completeness, making necessary revisions based on feedback from the design and production teams.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all drawings, including version control and change history.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software and industry trends to enhance skills and efficiency.
- Assist in identifying and resolving design and manufacturing issues by proposing solutions and modifications to drawings.
Academic & trades qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Familiarity with 3D modelling is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Experience in a furniture manufacturing environment is a plus.
Work Experience & Skills
- Total Experience: Min 1 year.
- Relevant Experience: Min 1 year of drawing and drafting experience in the furniture/interior design industry.
- They may occasionally need to visit manufacturing facilities to gain a better understanding of the production process or to assist with quality control.
