We at Coforge are hiring a Data Technical Lead with the following skillset:

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Develop, enhance, and manage DBT models and data transformations.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Support cloud‑based data engineering workloads, preferably on GCP.
• Write optimized SQL queries for analytical use cases and data processing.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Architects to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor data pipeline health, proactively troubleshoot issues, and ensure high data availability.
• Document data workflows, models, mappings, and technical processes clearly and consistently.

Required Skills (Must‑Have)

• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for data analysis and transformation.
• Hands‑on experience with DBT for data transformation and modeling.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform: GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, GCS preferred), or AWS / Azure with equivalent data services.
• Experience with data transformation and data loading technologies.
• Good working knowledge of Python for data engineering and analytical tasks.

Good to Have

• PySpark or similar distributed data processing experience.
• Exposure to Airflow / Cloud Composer. Experience with Data Catalog / Dataplex (or similar metadata services).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and version-controlled workflows.
