Role Overview
As a Senior Social Media Account Manager, you will own social media strategy and execution for large, enterprise- grade B2B clients. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how the social landscape is evolving – from platform algorithms and executive visibility to employer reputation and AI-assisted workflows.
You will act as the owner of social for your accounts – shaping what gets said, where it shows up, and how it’s managed – while working closely with content, design, digital, and account teams.
Corporate candidates with strong in-house social or communications experience are welcome. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities
1.Social Strategy & Narrative Management
- Own social media strategy for assigned B2B accounts – aligned to brand positioning and business priorities
- Translate campaigns, thought leadership, and leadership POVs into clear social narratives
- Build monthly and quarterly content plans with intent (not just frequency)
2.Reputation & Trust Management
- Manage brand presence across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and reputation surfaces like Glassdoor
- Partner with HR / Employer Brand teams on review response strategies and content alignment
- Flag reputation risks early and manage escalation calmly and professionally
3.Execution & Platform Excellence
- Drive end-to-end execution: briefs, coordination, approvals, publishing, and moderation
- Ensure quality, consistency, and relevance across platforms
- Stay updated on platform changes, formats, and best practices — and apply them pragmatically
4.Client Ownership
- Be the primary social media leader and strategist for clients
- Lead reviews, performance discussions, and planning conversations with confidence
- Handle feedback, iterations, and stakeholder expectations with maturity
5.Measurement, Tools & AI
- Track performance using social analytics and listening tools (Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, native analytics, etc.)
- Move beyond vanity metrics to insight-led reporting for B2B brands
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve speed, consistency, and ideation
6.Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Guide junior social team members where applicable
- Collaborate closely with SEO, paid, brand, web, and PR teams for integrated outcomes
- Bring structure, predictability, and momentum into social delivery
Desired Skills & Experience
- 5–8 OR 8-12 years of experience managing social media for B2B or enterprise brands (agency or in-house)
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn as a B2B growth and reputation platform
- Experience handling executive / leadership social presence is a strong plus
- Familiarity with social management, listening, and reporting tools
- Comfort working in complex stakeholder environments with approvals and governance
- Curious about new formats, AI, and evolving social behaviors
- Organized, accountable, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable working in-office and collaborating closely with teams
