About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and impact-driven Data Scientist with 5+ years of industry experience to lead end-to-end data science initiatives. The ideal candidate will translate complex business problems into scalable analytical solutions and drive measurable business outcomes through advanced analytics and machine learning.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, business, and data teams to build robust, production-ready data science systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead end-to-end data science projects from problem formulation to deployment and monitoring.
• Design, develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models for prediction, forecasting, classification, recommendation, and optimization.
• Perform advanced exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Develop feature engineering pipelines and optimize models.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets at scale.
• Build scalable ML pipelines with data engineers.
• Deploy models to production and monitor using MLOps best practices.
• Define and track model performance metrics (AUC, RMSE, F1, etc.).
• Build dashboards and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Document methodologies and mentor junior data scientists.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science or Machine Learning.
• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, linear algebra, and optimization.
• Proven experience delivering production-grade ML solutions.

Core Technical Skills

• Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
• SQL and relational databases
• Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
• XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost
• NLP libraries (NLTK, spaCy, Transformers)
• Apache Spark (PySpark), ETL pipelines
• Airflow or Prefect (workflow orchestration)
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• MLflow or experiment tracking tools
• AWS / Azure / GCP (SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI)
• Power BI / Tableau

Preferred Experience

• Experience in e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, or technology products.
• Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to recommendation systems or pricing models.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
