Job Description:

PURPOSE

This role is responsible for supporting hospitality’s compliance framework by ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, licensing requirements, and internal policies across operational sites. The position focuses on conducting compliance checks, identifying gaps, and enabling timely corrective actions while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting standards.

Head – Compliance / Function Head

INTERACTS WITH

External – Government Authorities, Regulatory Bodies, Consultants, Auditors

Internal – Business Heads, Site Teams, Operations, Legal, Finance, Compliance Team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Conduct concurrent compliance checks at operational sites to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify availability, validity, and accuracy of all required licences, registrations, and permits at sites.
  • Maintain structured records of compliance checks, observations, and documentation for reporting and audits.

Compliance Monitoring & Governance

  • Identify and document instances of non-compliance and escalate concerns to senior stakeholders.
  • Support tracking and closure of compliance gaps through structured follow-ups.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance frameworks across sites.

Applied Learning

  • Stay updated on evolving laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to operational and construction environments.
  • Build awareness within site teams on compliance standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to strengthening compliance processes through continuous learning and improvement.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with site teams and business stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of compliance observations.
  • Support alignment between operations and compliance requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, compliance status, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare compliance reports and dashboards for internal review and audits.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all compliance-related documentation.

Business & Risk Awareness

  • Support risk identification through compliance audits and site assessments.
  • Highlight potential compliance risks and recommend preventive measures.
  • Contribute to building a proactive compliance culture across operational sites.

Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities

  • Support adherence to safety and regulatory requirements at operational sites.
  • Identify potential risks related to non-compliance and escalate appropriately.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with safety standards and audit requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in LLB / CS + LLB / LLM / Compliance or related discipline

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 8–10 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory roles
  • Experience in construction, infrastructure, or operational site compliance preferred
