Job Title: Academic Mentor Trainee (Internship)

Location: Ernakulam

Internship Duration: 2Months

Stipend: ₹10,000 per month

Role Overview

As an Academic Mentor Trainee , you will receive hands-on training while supporting student success within our Crash Course Centre . This internship is designed to groom aspiring academic mentors by providing practical exposure to student guidance, academic coordination, and performance tracking in a flexible and supportive work culture .

You will work closely with students attending short-term and intensive crash courses, helping them stay focused, motivated, and academically aligned during high-pressure learning periods.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Student Mentorship Support:
  • Assist students enrolled in crash courses with study planning, time management, and adapting to intensive academic schedules.
  • Crash Course Student Support:
  • Provide continuous academic and motivational support to students attending crash courses, ensuring engagement, discipline, and consistency throughout the program.
  • Academic Monitoring:
  • Track student attendance, academic performance, and engagement levels. Identify early concerns and escalate them to senior mentors or faculty for timely intervention.
  • Intervention Assistance:
  • Support the implementation of personalized academic improvement strategies for students requiring additional guidance.
  • Parent Communication Support:
  • Assist in preparing student progress updates and coordinating communication with parents when required.
  • On-Campus Coordination:
  • Ensure students remain productive and focused during campus hours, especially during revision sessions and intensive crash course periods.
  • Data & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate academic, attendance, and behavior records using digital systems and MS Excel/Word.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Graduates in Education Psychology / Psychology / Education-related fields will be given preference.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
  • Strong ability to connect with students, understand learning challenges, and provide emotional and academic support.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Basic working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
