About the Role:

Modern School, Vaishali, Ghaziabad is seeking a passionate and experienced PGT English teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging teaching methods, foster a love for literature and language, and contribute to the overall academic excellence of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English to senior secondary classes (Grades XI–XII) in accordance with the prescribed curriculum (CBSE or relevant board).
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills among students.
• Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and continuous assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records.
• Prepare students for board examinations and competitive assessments.
• Organize and participate in literary activities such as debates, elocutions, and writing competitions.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration for student development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree in English (M.A. in English) with B.Ed. is mandatory.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
• Strong command over English language and literature.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and digital tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with CBSE curriculum.
• Exposure to online or blended teaching methods.
• Participation in extracurricular or co-curricular activities.
