Job Description:

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Export Manager to manage and expand our international Sales of Food Products . The candidate will be responsible for developing export markets , Managing overseas Clients , ensuring regulatory compliance , and coordinating export shipments . The role requires strong knowledge of international trade regulations , export documentation and global foods market dynamics

1. International Sales & Market Development

Identify and develop new export markets and international distributors.

Generate export inquiries and convert them into long-term business relationships.

Build strong relationships with importers, wholesalers, and distributors.

Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings.

2. Export Order Management

Manage the entire export order cycle from inquiry to delivery.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely production and dispatch.

Monitor shipment schedules and ensure on-time delivery to international customers.

3. Export Documentation

●      Ensure compliance with customs regulations and destination country requirements.

4. Regulatory Compliance (Food Category)

●      Ensure adherence to international food safety and regulatory standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, BRC, Halal, or Kosher certifications where required.

●      Coordinate with quality assurance teams to maintain export compliance.

5. Logistics & Shipping Coordination

●      Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and CHA agents.

Plan container loading, shipping schedules, and port documentation.

Monitor customs clearance and shipment tracking.

6. Pricing & Negotiation

●      Prepare export pricing based on FOB, CIF, and CFR terms.

Negotiate commercial terms, payment conditions, and contracts with international buyers.

Monitor global market trends, freight costs, and currency fluctuations.

Key Skills

​Strong knowledge of export documentation and international trade regulations.

Understanding of food safety standards and export compliance.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Experience in international logistics and shipment management.

Ability to build global distributor networks.

Preferred Experience

●      ​5–10 years of experience in export sales, preferably in food products / FMCG / ​Agro commodities.

●      Experience in exporting wheat flour, biscuits

●      Existing international buyer network will be an added advantage.
