A day in the life:

In the thrilling role of A/R Accountant at Monster Energy, you’ll be at the heart of the action, driving the pulse of our order to invoice tracking and reconciliation. You’ll be the vital link coordinating with bottler finance teams to ensure that our receivables stay on track. Your expertise will shine as you provide local finance support on claims processing, all while ensuring we’re in full compliance with applicable tax laws.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Service, and Shared Services to ensure sales order tracking. Oversee accurate and timely invoice processing and prepare periodic reconciliations.
  • Liaise closely with bottler finance teams, monitor customer ageing and proactively follow up to minimize overdue balances.
  • Ensure all trade and commercial claims are accurately raised in the system within timelines. Track, reconcile and ensure timely clearance of claims, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable indirect tax laws.
  • Follow up and obtain No due certificates from all customers on a periodic basis.

Who you are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of — Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field of study.
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in collections, Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance.
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), manufacturing, distribution.
  • Computer Skills Desired: Experience in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Central Component (ECC) or S/4 is required, but similar ERP system accepted. Experience in Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook required, experience with SharePoint, OneNote, Power BI a plus.
  • Preferred Certifications: Accounting standards, GST courses.
