This is a builder’s role, for someone who is curious and passionate and wants to architect and ship a category-defining AI product from the ground up and work closely with POC customers.

The Role

We are looking for a Lead AI/ML Engineer – AI/ML who sits at the rare intersection of deep technical expertise, product thinking, and domain understanding in Marketing & Advertising technology.

You will be a hands-on architect and builder, not just a strategist. You will design, build, and scale the AI/ML core of our platform: from agentic orchestration pipelines and RAG architectures to proprietary Brand Language Models and real-time data integration systems.

You will work directly with the Founder & CEO and Technical Co founder CTO and senior technical team, shaping both technical direction and product roadmap at the highest level of the organisation.

What You Will Do

Architecture & Engineering

  • Architect and build multi-agent AI systems, agentic RAG pipelines, and LLM orchestration layers end-to-end
  • Design and develop Brand-specific Small Language Models (SLMs) and fine-tuning workflows using domain-specific data
  • Build and manage complex data integration pipelines third-party APIs, webhooks, file integrations, MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors, and CDPs
  • Define and enforce AI/ML engineering standards, model evaluation frameworks, and production deployment practices
  • Own the transition from external LLM API dependency to proprietary, defensible AI architecture

Product & Technical Direction

  • Translate complex business and marketing problems into precise AI/ML system designs and product requirements
  • Contribute meaningfully to the product roadmap bridging what is technically possible with what the market needs
  • Lead technical due diligence preparedness and represent the AI/ML architecture to investors, partners, and customers
  • Stay ahead of the curve on emerging frameworks LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, DSPy, and what comes next

Team & Collaboration

  • Work hands-on alongside the AI/ML team (including our AI/ML Director and Senior Director of AI/ML)
  • Mentor and elevate engineers; establish strong engineering culture and practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and business teams

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

  • 3–7 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML and data-driven product development
  • Last 3 years must include direct, production-grade work on Generative AI products, not just prototypes
  • Proven track record of building products 0→1 (inception to launch) and 1→10 (scaling in production)
  • Deep, hands-on experience building AI Agents and Agentic AI systems (multi-agent orchestration, tool use, memory, planning loops)
  • Strong command of Agentic RAG architecture — retrieval strategies, re-ranking, chunking, hybrid search, evaluation
  • Solid fundamentals in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP/LLM systems
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, HuggingFace, or equivalents)
  • Experience integrating with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, open-source models) and managing prompt engineering at scale
  • Experience with data engineering pipelines, vector databases, structured/unstructured data processing
  • Ability to read, write, and review production code, this is a hands-on role

Strong Advantage

  • Experience in MarTech, AdTech, Programmatic Advertising, or Marketing Analytics
  • Working knowledge of CDP, DSP, SSP, DMP, or similar data platforms
  • Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), AI connectors, webhooks, and API-driven integrations
  • Experience with Brand Safety, Compliance-aware AI, or regulated AI deployments
  • Exposure to SLM fine-tuning, LoRA/QLoRA, or domain-specific model adaptation
  • Prior experience in an early-stage startup environment
