Sikich is seeking a Tax Associate with 0-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have experience in US GAAP general accounting. The candidate will be collecting tax forms and tracking client paperwork, preparing tax returns, and producing tax reports.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage project deliverables and client engagements.
- Prepare and self-review all types of tax returns.
- Assist Experienced Associate drive deliverables.
- Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
- Manage and maintain the company’s tax database.
- Ensure to comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities.
- Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
- Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports.
Requirements for Successful Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master’s Degree in Accounting with US Taxation experience.
- Inter CA, CA, CPA, or EA (Enrolled Agent) certification (or progress towards certification) – preferred.
- Skilled at building client rapport and working relationships.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
- Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks™ and other US accounting systems.
- Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
