Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Translational Disease Biology position, located in Hyderabad. The role involves conducting advanced laboratory experiments, performing research in microbiology and biology, and contributing to the development of innovative therapeutics. The candidate will collaborate with scientific teams, analyze data, and contribute to the preparation of scientific reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support evaluation of upper airway biology and disease mechanisms
  • Assist in identifying drug deposition target regions
  • Review scientific literature and summarize findings
  • Contribute to understanding: mucociliary clearance, mucus properties, airflow and obstruction
  • Assist in comparing acute vs chronic disease conditions
  • Help translate biological insights into structured product requirements
  • Support preparation of: technical reports, literature summaries, regulatory-style documents
  • Maintain organized literature databases and evidence trackers
  • Collaborate with internal teams and support external partners

Qualifications

  • Master’s / PhD (or equivalent) in: Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, Physiology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Translational Medicine
  • 0–3 years experience (internships/research projects considered)
  • Proficiency in Biology and Microbiology for research and analysis in disease biology.
  • Strong Laboratory Skills, with expertise in experimental techniques and data interpretation.
  • Excellent Communication skills to facilitate collaboration and effectively present findings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment and adapt to scientific challenges.
  • Experience in translational research and understanding of respiratory drug development is a plus.
