SAP ABAP Technical Consultant IDoc BOBF
Required Skills Experience
Experience 58 years in SAP ABAP development 3 years hands-on with IDocALE
IDoc Expertise Custom IDoc design extension partner profile config error handling and reprocessing
Frameworks Strong in BOBF object modeling actionsdeterminationsvalidations OOP ABAP BAdIs Enhancement Framework
Integration Experience with PIPO or SAP Cloud Integration CPI RFC web services OData
Performance Quality ATC ST12ST05 SQL tuning exception handling unit testing
SDMMLE Process Understanding Ability to translate business processes into robust technical solution
Integration Interfaces IDoc Focus
Design build and maintain Idocrase integrations inbound outbound across SAP modules SDMMTM
Configure partner profiles ports message types segments and distribution models BD configurations
Implement custom IDoc extensions user exits BAdIs and enhancements for business specific needs
Monitor and troubleshoot IDoc processing using WE02WE05 BD87 SM58 SMQ1SMQ2 and ALERFC queues
Ensure error handling reprocessing strategies and reconciliation with business teams
Object Modeling Frameworks BOBF BRF OData
Develop in BOBF create extend business objects nodes actions determinations validations and implement service managers
Build OData services Gateway for UI5Fiori apps ensure performance security authorization checks and versioning
Utilize BRF for rule based decisions eg status management charge calculations validations
Core ABAP Development
Develop classes interfaces function modules ALV reports enhancements Implicit Explicit BAdIs and forms Adobes artforms
Optimize code for performance SQL traceST05 ATC runtime analysis and adhere to clean ABAP practices
Unit test and document development collaborate with functional teams for end-to-end delivery
Preferred Qualifications
SAP TM Exposure Handson in TM embedded or standalone especially Bobbared TM objects Charge Management Freight Settlement TMERP integration
Experience with BRF UI5Fiori POWL Events Status management and condition techniques
Familiarity with S4HANA data models CDS Views AMDP REST OData best practices
Experience with Agile delivery JiraAzure DevOps and Solution Manager Charm
SAP certification ABAP or TM is a plus
SAP TM Preferred
Support or develop TMspecific objects Freight Orders Units Charge Management Settlement Planning and Integration with ERP
Work with PIPO or CPI flows for carriers3PLs handle XMLEDI mappings
Enhance TM via Bobbared business objects POWLUI5 screens and condition techniques
Soft Skills
Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills
Clear written verbal communication with business and technical stakeholders
Ownership mindset with ability to work in global cross functional teams
