Role Overview

This role sits at the heart of Galeries Lafayette India’s digital presence. You will help shape how the brand shows up on social – from culture-led content and in-store storytelling.

The position will support the development of a refined, culturally relevant social presence by working closely with internal teams and external agencies to plan, create, and execute content across platforms.

The role is best suited for a strong content professional – someone with a sharp creative instinct, a clear understanding of digital culture, and the ability to move seamlessly between ideation and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Social Media

  • Support the planning and maintenance of monthly social media calendars, primarily for Instagram
  • Contribute to content ideation and grid planning, ensuring consistency in visual language and storytelling
  • Research and track emerging trends, formats, and audio, adapting them thoughtfully within a fashion and luxury context
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate brand priorities, in-store moments, and campaigns into content ideas
  • Coordinate in-store and brand shoots for social media, including VM moments, launches, campaigns, and events
  • Assist in creating social-first content such as Reels, Stories, BTS, and quick-turn formats
  • Work closely with agencies, videographers, editors, and freelancers to manage content briefs, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure content output aligns with brand guidelines, quality standards, and platform requirements
  • Support reactive and real-time content opportunities linked to cultural and store-led moments

Candidate Profile

  • 3 – 4 years of experience in content, social, or digital content roles, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or retail
  • Strong interest in content ideation and storytelling for digital platforms
  • Experience coordinating shoots and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Deep interest in digital culture, social platforms, and evolving content formats
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance creative thinking with execution
