About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Arista Network Engineer to manage, operate, and optimize our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Arista switches, routing protocols, network automation, and large-scale IT network management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Arista-based network solutions across data centers and enterprise environments.
  • Configure and manage Arista EOS switches, routing platforms, and network services.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Manage Layer 2 & Layer 3 network components including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, etc.
  • Work with network monitoring tools to detect anomalies and optimize performance.
  • Implement network security measures, including ACLs, role-based access, and segmentation.
  • Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams for network-related support and project delivery.
  • Document configurations, network diagrams, and operational SOPs.
  • Support automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, or Arista CloudVision (CVP).

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IT Network Management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Arista EOS, CloudVision Portal (CVP), and network automation.
  • Proficiency in routing & switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, ISIS, STP, VXLAN/EVPN).
  • Good understanding of data center networking concepts and architectures.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG).
  • Ability to analyze packet captures (Wireshark, tcpdump).
  • Knowledge of firewall technologies is an added advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
