Job Description:

The Sinequa administrator role involves managing the Sinequa Search Platform, which includes configuring data ingestion pipelines, managing connectors to over 200 sources, and optimizing Al-powered search performance. As an “admin heaven” for IT professionals, this role focuses on backend configuration, security management, and tuning search relevance.

Key responsibilities of a Sinequa Administrator include:

System Administration: Installing and maintaining nodes, engines, and indexers.

Data Ingestion & Connectivity: Creating and configuring connectors to index structured and unstructured data sources, such as SharePoint, Salesforce, and databases.

Security & Access Control: Implementing and auditing document-level security to ensure users only see content they are authorized to access, including managing SSO and SAML 2.0/OAuth2.

Search Optimization: Tuning relevance, defining facet filters, configuring metadata mapping, and refining NLP processing.

GenAI & RAG Management: Configuring and monitoring Al agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) workflows.

Monitoring & Support: Managing system performance, analyzing logs, and troubleshooting indexing pipelines.

Required Technical Skills

Administrators often work with Sinequa’s Administration interface (SBA Framework), REST APIs, and configuration files. Experience in data integration and familiarity with Al technologies are considered
