Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide both on-site and remote technical support for internal end-user systems, including software, hardware, and connectivity.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven technical professional who can work independently while collaborating with a broader support team. You will play a key role in delivering a seamless and high-quality technology experience for all users, including senior leadership and trading teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues via in-person, phone, chat, and email support
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating systems, user accounts, and mobility-related issues
- Provide support for trading environments and enterprise applications
- Handle IT hardware requests including setup, deployment, and basic troubleshooting
- Provide hands-on data center support (installation, cabling, inventory tracking)
- Perform conference room setup and maintenance support
- Escalate issues to relevant internal teams or vendors for root cause resolution
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure optimal end-user experience
- Collaborate with local and global teams on support tasks and technical projects
- Support additional tasks and overtime requirements as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in technical support within enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN)
- Active Directory, Azure, Intune
- Microsoft Exchange
- Experience with collaboration and communication tools (MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx)
- Exposure to Finance/Banking or trading environments is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
