Relationship Manager _ Andhrapradesh, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhyapradesh, Chattishgarh, Odissa, West Bengal, Uttarpradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Assam and Rajasthan.

1. Primary Objective

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for sourcing used tractors and unsold tractor inventory from various industry participants and onboarding them onto the Tractor Auction online auction platform. The role requires field visits, relationship building, inventory sourcing, and seller/buyer coordination.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Tractor Inventory Sourcing

Identify and acquire unsold or used tractor inventory for listing on the auction platform.

Target Sources:

Tractor dealerships

Used tractor dealers

Tractor brokers

Tractor mechanics and repair workshops

Farmers with resale tractors

Tractor fleet operators

OEM regional/state retail managers

Bank/NBFC recovery & collection teams

Tractor finance companies

Asset repossession agents

Tasks:

Conduct daily field visits to potential partners.

Identify unsold stock / repossessed tractors / used tractors.

Collect tractor details, images, condition reports, ownership documents.

Upload tractor inventory to the auction portal.

Maintain database of potential sellers.

B. Dealer & Industry Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with industry stakeholders.

Stakeholders include:

Tractor dealers

Used tractor traders

Brokers

Mechanics

OEM state retail heads

Bank/NBFC asset recovery teams

Responsibilities:

Maintain regular visits and follow-ups.

Educate partners about benefits of the auction platform model.

Ensure continuous inventory flow to the portal.

Negotiate listing terms with sellers.

C. Seller Onboarding & Support

Register sellers on the auction portal.

Collect required documentation:

RC copy

Owner ID proof

Tractor details

Location

Photos

Assist sellers in price expectations and reserve pricing.

Ensure accurate listing information.

D. Buyer Relationship Management

Assist buyers during auctions.

Resolve buyer queries regarding:

Tractor condition

Location

Documents

Auction rules

Facilitate communication between buyers and sellers.

Support transaction completion.

E. Issue Resolution

Handle operational issues including:

Buyer complaints

Seller disputes

Document mismatches

Auction participation issues

Delivery coordination issues

Ensure smooth deal closure.

F. Auction Operations Support

Coordinate with internal team to ensure tractors are properly listed before auction.

Ensure photos and details meet platform standards.

Monitor auctions involving sourced inventory.

Coordinate post-auction seller-buyer communication.

G. Market Intelligence

Collect ground-level insights such as:

Tractor demand trends

Price benchmarks

Competitor marketplaces

Dealer unsold inventory trends

Repossession volumes from banks

Report insights weekly.

3. Daily Field Activities

Typical daily routine may include:

Visit 5–10 tractor dealers

Visit mechanic workshops

Meet used tractor brokers

Meet bank recovery managers

Capture tractor details & photos

Upload inventory to platform

Follow up with existing sellers
