PROXY L1 : Any Proxy Tool experience will be considered

• Serve as the L1 escalation point for proxy and secure web gateway issues.
• Troubleshoot authentication failures, SSL inspection issues, policy misconfigurations, and traffic flow problems.
• Administer and maintain proxy platforms (Zscaler, Blue Coat, Forcepoint, Prisma, Squid, etc.).
• Manage URL filtering, SSL inspection, firewall and access policies.
• Work with cross-functional teams (network, SOC, endpoint) for issue resolution.
• Monitor proxy performance, analyze logs, and implement optimizations.
• Manage updates, patches, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Document SOPs, KB articles, troubleshooting steps, and configuration changes.

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with one or more proxy tools:
• ✓ Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)
• ✓ Blue Coat / Symantec ProxySG
• ✓ Forcepoint Web Security
• ✓ Palo Alto Prisma Access
• ✓ Squid Proxy
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, and firewall fundamentals.
• Experience with SSL inspection and certificate management.
• Understanding of authentication methods (Kerberos, NTLM, SAML, Azure AD).
