We are looking for an experienced Freelance Lead OMS Sterling Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team working on scalable products for global enterprise clients.

Mandatory Skills

• • IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS)

Responsibilities

• • Work on high-volume eCommerce applications and manage order management systems.

• • Develop and enhance solutions using IBM Sterling Order Management Fulfillment Suite.

• • Implement and upgrade IBM Sterling OMS (version 9.0 and above).

• • Design and develop integrations using XML, XSD, SOAP, and REST services.

• • Work with application servers such as Websphere MQ, JBoss, or Weblogic.

• • Build scalable B2C retail and supply chain applications.

• • Use Sterling Configuration Deployment Toolkit (CDT) and Global Inventory Visibility.

• • Follow SDLC processes including design, development, testing, and deployment.

• • Work in Agile/Waterfall environments and manage version control using SVN, CVS, or Git.

• • Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• • Ensure high availability and scalability of OMS systems.

• • Provide support for order management system investigations and critical issues.

Good to Have

• • Experience in OMS upgrade to version 9.3 or higher

• • Experience with Omnichannel implementations using IBM Sterling OMS

• • Exposure to Cassandra

• • Experience with caching technologies
