Microsoft Dynamics 365 Engineer (US Shift)

We are looking for a high-impact D365 Engineer who goes beyond traditional development — someone who can own the D365 platform end-to-end, manage deployments and upgrades, and enable business operations through data insights using Power BI and Power Automate.

This role sits at the intersection of application development, platform engineering, and business intelligence, making it critical to both product stability and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. D365 Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and customize solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations / CRM)
• Develop plugins, workflows, integrations, and extensions using:
• C#, .NET, X++
• REST APIs / OData services
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and third-party systems

2. Platform Ownership (Environments & Releases)

• Own end-to-end lifecycle management of D365 environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)
• Manage:
• Deployments and release pipelines
• Version upgrades and patches
• Environment refreshes and data migrations
• Ensure zero/low downtime releases and rollback strategies
• Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD improvements

3. Power BI – Data & Reporting for Operations

• Design and build operational dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Translate business needs into data models and meaningful insights
• Connect and optimize data from:
• D365
• SQL / Data warehouse
• External systems
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and governance
• Support leadership with real-time reporting for decision-making

4. Power Automate & Workflow Automation

• Build and manage automated workflows using Power Automate
• Streamline business processes across:
• Finance
• Operations
• Supply chain / inventory
• Integrate D365 workflows with external systems and services

5. Data & Operational Support

• Work closely with business teams to:
• Investigate data issues
• Ensure reporting accuracy
• Improve data flows across systems
• Act as a bridge between business, data, and engineering teams

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 development
• Hands-on experience with:
• Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards)
• Power Automate (flows, integrations)

Platform & Deployment

• Experience managing:
• D365 upgrades, patches, and deployments
• Multi-environment setups (Dev → UAT → Prod)
• Understanding of:
• CI/CD pipelines
• Azure DevOps (preferred)

Data & BI

• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data structures
• Experience in:
• Data modeling
• ETL concepts
• Performance optimization of reports
