NeuroSurgeon

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate teams of surgeons and nurses in the operating theater.
• Operate microscopes for surgeries to perform microsurgeries.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, PET scans, and CT scans.
• Assess and diagnose patients, prescribe treatments, and monitor progress.
• Meet with families of patients during surgery to keep them updated on their loved one’s condition.
• Handle unscheduled emergency surgeries.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and neurologists, and consult other departments as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks like keeping records, writing prescriptions, and filling out paperwork.
• Stay updated with new discoveries and attend academic conferences.

Job Requirements

• MBBS MS DNB degree in Neurosurgery or related field.
• Possess strong knowledge of medical procedures, including surgical techniques and patient care.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
