Critical Manufacturing MES Developer
Job Description
About the Role:
We are looking for experienced professionals skilled in Critical Manufacturing MES (CM-MES)
to deliver end-to-end MES solutions for Discrete and Life Sciences manufacturing. The role
focuses on process modeling, configuration, and technical development to enable data-
driven, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize Critical Manufacturing MES modules (process modeling,
- material, equipment, and quality configurations).
- Develop and enhance backend logic, APIs, and system interfaces using C#,
- ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and SQL Server.
- Create data integration solutions between MES, ERP (SAP), SCADA, and automation
- systems via REST, OPC UA, MQTT, or Web Services.
- Build and maintain UI extensions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JScript for
- operator and supervisor screens.
- Support electronic batch records (EBR/eDHR), validation documentation, and
- compliance with GMP and FDA standards.
- Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and go-live support for each
- implementation wave.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver MES technical functionality and
- continuous improvements.
Required Skills and Experience:
Overall Relevant Experience: 5–9 years
Certification is Mandatory: Critical Manufacturing Associate –
Frontend/Backend/modeler Developer /Automation / Administrator
Technical Skills:
- CM-MES configuration and workflow modeling
- C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server
- SAP MES, SAP MII exposure for ERP integration
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JScript, Python
- Power BI or dashboarding for MES reporting
- Automation & Integration: OPC UA, MQTT, SECS/GEM protocols
- Familiarity with Siemens OpCenter or similar MES platforms (added advantage)
Domain: Discrete Manufacturing / Life Sciences / Medical Devices
Understanding of: ISA-95, GMP, and validated system environments
